Kopimism!

What I'v known and described  as "the hacker mentality" now has an official name and religion - Kopimism.

 The belief that people should be free to copy and distribute all information. I always believed this to be the hacker's belief, but now, since hacker has been turned into "a wrongful way of getting information", it is good that there is a new name out there.....but a religion?

Yes there may be several reasons for people to join this religion. I like copying and sharing. But could it be that some of the people are only joining it in order to have a stable defense if they are sued for their sharing? Claiming it would be religious persecution? 

Well I guess if that works, I'm a Kopimist and proud of it!
